Registration

We are cutting off registration at 3,000 muddy runners! Last year’s race filled up quickly so REGISTER NOW to receive Early Bird Discount! Please note, online registration (Eventbrite.com) will end June 9, 2013, 11:59 PM EST.

 

Fees

Fees are for Teams of 2 or 6, there are no individual registrations!

 Pricing Per Team of 2:

  • $90 – April 14th
  • $100 April 15th – May 12th
  • $110 May 13th – June 9th
  • $120 June 10th – June 14th (at Fleet Feet Sports Savannah ONLY)
  • NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE

  • $300 April 15th – May 12th
  • $310 May 13th – June 9th
  • $320 June 10th – June 14th (at Fleet Feet Sports Savannah ONLY)

Packet Pickup

We offer two separate packet pickup times and locations, however we HIGHLY RECOMMEND picking up your packet on Friday to avoid a delayed start Saturday morning!

Friday, June 14 at Fleet Feet Sports Savannah
10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Saturday, June 15 at JCB
6:00 am – 7:30 am

It is recommended that only 1 person pick up your entire team’s packets and distribute to your teammates however, this is not required. To pick up everyone’s packets you will need your Team Name or all your teammates names.

Please remember you MUST bring a signed waiver for EVERY TEAMMATE in order to pick up packets!! This is not negotiable so print it off here!

Awards
First and Second Place Awards will be given to the following divisions for the best overall times. There will be an awards ceremony on the stage during the Post-Race Party. Click here for full list of awesome awards!

 

OFFICIAL RULES

Race Etiquette

  • Have fun!
  • Pretty much just like the rules of the highway, slower runners stay to the right and you pass on the left.
  • All races must wear their race number… and hope for the best it stays on.
  • No diving, no diving, NO DIVING… thank you!
  • Shoes required… at least to start! You may lose one or two in a mud pit but that’s why we have Duct Tape Stations to try to avoid this mushy situation!
  • Remember, this is a family event so please be care of colorful language and behavior.
  • Most important of all, HAVE FUN! Hmmm, did we already say that?

 

What to expect on race day
Fun, lots and lots of muddy fun! Oh, and parking is FREE! Don’t forget to check out the Costume Contest on the Main Stage at 7:15 am, yeah, that’s early but we need to judge pre-mud!

 

What to bring

  • Friends! We want you and your friends to hang out and enjoy the after party! An important note, there will not be lockers or changing tents so a friend to hold your keys, towel and even a change of clothes is a good idea!  There WILL be outdoor showers to rinse off the muck and grime… if you want.
  • Lawn chairs and coolers – Come prepared to hang out at the post race after party! We’ll have music, food and drinks but feel free to bring your own too!
  • Sunscreen and  bug spray! It’s always a good idea to have these on hand especially sloshing through the mud or hanging out by some of our mud pits! Our “no-see-ums” are almost as famous as our hospitality down here in Savannah!

 

Spectators
Parking is free but we are asking for a $10.00 (cash or check) donation to The Lady Bamford Center for Early Childhood Development that will also give you access to all the food and beverage at the Post Race After Party. Please remember to have a Photo ID if you plan on having a beer. 21 and over will be required to wear a wristband to consume alcohol.

 

Costume Contest
You do not have to wear a costume but feel free to show your wild side as there will be awards for the Best Individual Costume and Best Team Costume. Just remember to keep the costumes family friendly since our race is on Father’s Day weekend and there will be plenty of kids of all ages enjoying the mud and sludge!

Costume judging will take place on the Main Stage at 7:15 am! Categories: Team (2 and 6-Person Teams combined) and Individual.

 

Photo Opps
Make sure you look for our JCB Mud Run Before and After Photo booths! Plus we’ll have professional and non-professional photogs all over the course! We’ll be posting pics on the website gallery and of course on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram! And, we welcome your photos and videos too! Make sure to tag them #JCBMudRun2013
